Your subscription runs for a minimum of 12 months. After the first 12 months, your plan automatically switches to a month to month subscription so you can keep your site live without signing a new yearly contract.

If you cancel after your initial 12 month term and decide to come back later, we will set you up with a new 12 month contract. After that new term is finished, you can move back to a month to month subscription again.

If you cancel before the 12 month contract is complete, you will owe the remaining balance up to the full standard site cost of 2500 dollars, minus whatever you have already paid. The subscription model is designed to create long term relationships and make a full custom site more affordable by spreading that cost out.

Invoices are due within 7 days. If you are unable to pay within that window, a 15 dollar late fee is added to the invoice.

If you are on a contract subscription and there are multiple months where payments are missed, we may choose to cancel the subscription and you will be responsible for the remaining balance of the full site cost of 2500 dollars. Communication is very important. If you reach out and let us know what is going on, we will do our best to work with you, but we also need to protect the business from being taken advantage of.

We send email invoices through Square that include a link to a secure payment page. You can enter your payment information safely there.

We do not accept checks or money orders. Lump sum projects are paid using ACH bank transfers. Subscription plans can be paid with all major credit and debit cards.

The 100 dollars per additional page is a one time fee for each extra page. For example, if you want 2 extra pages, that is a single 200 dollar charge. After that, your bill goes back to your normal 150 dollar monthly subscription amount on the next month.

After you sign your contract, we move into the design phase. During this step we show you design concepts and make adjustments. If we cannot create a design that you are happy with during this design step, we will refund whatever you paid to get started.

Once you approve the design and we move forward into building the live site, there are no guaranteed refunds. Any refunds beyond that point are entirely at our discretion.

If you cancel your subscription, you keep your domain name and any assets that you provided, such as photos or logos. We keep ownership of the website code itself.

From the time we have your contract signed, content gathered, and design direction approved, we aim to have your website fully built and live within about 2 to 3 weeks.

No. When you cancel your subscription, the hosted website and its code are removed from our servers. You do keep your domain name and all assets you originally provided, such as photos, logos, and copy that you wrote.

To request edits, send an email to scott@upperleftwebdesigns.com with the changes you need. I will handle the updates for you as part of your subscription.

Yes, SEO works, but it is a long term strategy. It can take 6 to 12 months for strong results to show up, especially in competitive markets. The sooner you start with a solid site and good content, the sooner those results can build up over time.

I write high quality copy that is tailored to your business, services, and local community. Instead of stuffing pages with random keywords, I focus on clear, helpful content that actually answers customer questions.

Search engines prefer quality, relevant information and a fast, easy to use site. Custom code, good structure, and strong writing all work together to support better rankings and more organic traffic over time.
